ATL day three late

The dirty, dirty.

Little Five Points was a bit sketchy but legit places sometimes have a dangerous side. There were a couple of cool spots out there that I'd recommend if you get the chance and are willing to walk the wild side for an afternoon. One is Criminal Records which is a record shop/ toy store/ comic book place. The guys were cool and they had a bunch of those cool designer qees that I seem uncontrollably buy. There was also an eclectic restaurant/bar called The Vortex that's worth a stop by for a beer and a burger. I hung out for a few drinks and met some fun people (you also have to dig the huge skull entrance).

I've been finding that Atlanta has lots of interesting areas but everywhere there seems to be a void of people. I know I'm from New York but- ??? I keep asking people where everyone's hiding and no one has a good answer yet. Everything also seems to close really early here. I asked the guys in the record shop what they thought the deal was and they started making fun of me for being from New York-"Ohhh...Everything's so great in New York!" I told them that it's not that it's so great, it's just open and there're people around.

I'll set off to find the guts of Atlanta's personality tomorrow if it kills me (and it might because it's been in the 90's here and I'm walking).
