Puerto Rico

Rain and coffee (luz de los cielos).

We also caught a few rainy days but the hotels have a good amount of distraction with built-in casino's, huge cafes and bars, concerts at night, pools, hot tubs, and mine had Starbucks across the street like a beacon of light from the heavens (I'm a coffee addict and I need help).

Overall I just found this trip refreshing: the colors, the smell, the culture, and the glowing organisms. I had first come to Puerto Rico a few years back when I was extremely overweight, then again a few years later after I had lost some weight and learned my father had cancer. It was a healthy sense of closure coming back having lost 150 pounds and with my father having beaten the cancer, having fun with the whole family.
