Project 366: 2008 Everyday in photos
Project 366 is a personal, photographic journal made entirely with an inexpensive point and shoot camera which documents each day in my life for one year, 2008. The year was at times tumultuous but also insightful, creative, and most importantly fun. In the images you can see my struggles with my father’s battle with esophageal cancer, my life as an artist, my personal relationships, my job as a high school teacher, and my travels to Puerto Rico, the Northeast coast, and San Francisco.
For me the process was a learning experience and beyond that I hope viewers can find something interesting in it. I wanted to show my students first hand that making good photographs is not about the equipment and having a number of the images chosen for publication in magazines and books such as Photographer’s Forum was a wonderful surprise. I hope you enjoy it!
